Open Call for applications: Academic Staff Members for the CCDI Program on the 1st semester starting October 2020.

Teaching the postgraduate interdisciplinary program (Creativity and Cultural Development Industries) requires intellectual staff members with wide horizons and sufficient awareness of the disciplines involved in our program’s design; namely culture, media, tourism, and business management. With our deep confidence in our professors’ skills, we are glad to launch these academic opportunities for them to represent their own proposals of the teaching plans for the list of courses stated further below.

A) Degrees: courses from the Diploma and the Masters.

B) Timing: in the first and second semesters of the academic year 2019-2020.

C) Language of teaching: English.

D) Position Type: full professors, associate professors, and assistant professors* (If there isn’t a staff member with a higher academic position to teach the course).

One/more faculty members, from one/more of the disciplines involved in the program, can submit a single teaching plan to the chosen course. It’s highly recommended that an academic faculty member would involve experts and specialists from the labor market in the formation of the teaching team. It’s also highly recommended that the course plan would involve several team members from different relevant disciplines to ensure interdisciplinarity.

E) Selection will be based on: The potential applicant/applicants of the same team will be selected based on the teaching plan that would be proposed by them. It’s highly recommended that the course plan would involve several team members from different relevant disciplines to ensure interdisciplinarity. The teaching plan will be chosen by a blindfolded interdisciplinary review panel of experts and specialists, to ensure the transparency of the selection, moreover to ensure that the courses are taught in an interdisciplinary manner.

F) The interested applicant is required to:

1- Choose the closest course to his/her discipline,

(our courses are divided into three modules (Business – Culture – Media & Tourism), however, kindly check the whole list as all courses are interdisciplinary, and it’s highly recommended to form a team of the relevant disciplines involved in a single course.

2- Download then fill in the course plan file template from the hyperlink  Course Plan.

3- Email us with your choice on the following email address to discuss the intended learning outcomes of the course of your choice. ccdi.pfisr@hq.helwan.edu.eg

4- And finally, submit your course plan and your curriculum vitae via email to ccdi.pfisr@hq.helwan.edu.eg
